A prayer from our Sisterhood member, Gil Senty, who lives in the south of France…
We live in a world that is dying.
So many people have lost sight of you. Such terrible things are happening.
Today we pray for the people of Nice. We can’t believe how people can feel they have the right to cause such distress. But in the midst of the atrocities, may the people of Nice, and everyone in the world who feels affected by these attacks not lose hope for a better world.
May your Holy Spirit work in their hearts so hatred does not take over.
Today I was singing this song to myself…”What if the blessings come through raindrops, what if the healing come through tears, what if a thousand sleepless nights is what it takes to know you’re hear, what if the trials of your life are a blessing in disguise…”
These attacks are NOT a blessing but we’re asking that people find comfort in this time of despair.
And may we more than ever seek your kingdom and share the love with those around us.
