K.I.D. - Kids in Discipleship
Kids in Discipleship (K.I.D.) teaches parents and caregivers what it means to be disciples of Jesus, and how to help their children becomes disciples too.
This is a prayer based ministry that equip the family to grow together in Christ.
Through a 12 session training process called Footprints for Parents and Mentors, parents learn to become their child’s life-teacher. Parents also learn practical ways to teach their children to love God’s Word and experience the joy of serving others.
Once parents have completed Footprints for Parents and Mentors, they are ready for the next step. This is where parents and their children grow together through Footprints for Kids, a 32 week course. Each Footprints for Kids lesson is an interactive group session where parents and children study and learn together.
It is during Footprints for Kids that parents help their children to grow in areas such as:
• Knowing Jesus and falling deeply in love with Him
• Developing a framework for their faith in Jesus
• Discovering their spiritual gifts and becoming empowered and enable to use those gifts.
Contact the KID team if you would like more information on how to sign up for 2008 sessions.
